Hey guys, just wanted to throw this idea out and wanted to see what everone thought of the idea. Its just about that time of year when "The greatest spectacle of Racing" is about to start, and I was thinking maybe we could get a FIXED setup Indy 500 race going. We could advertise in other leagues for drivers. This would be a great way to get people to check out GOBRL.

Rfactor has some great MODS for Open Kart Racing. One in paticular is the
1995 CART/Indycar MOD, which is a RfactorCentral Hall Of Fame choice. I really like this MOD, because it reminds me of the Papryus version of Indycar. Also, I think this was the last year in which INDYCAR was at its peak and has been going down hill since.

Being that this is the Indy 500. I would love to see the race done at %100, with 1x Fuel. If everyone plays it cool and keeps the caution to a minimal the race shouldn't take long. In these cars it close to wide open around the entire track, and lap times are in the low 40's.

Ideally you don't see too many full races in this game, I could see the race being done at %50 (100 laps) with 2x Fuel.

I have been doing some testing and working on a base setup for us to tweak.

If you guys want to try it out, Download the 1995 Cart Season at Rfactor Central, and also Indianapolis Motor Speedway 1.00.
